HISTORICAL HERITAGE
As highly experienced project leaders, Artefact has been lead consultant on many major projects. Our planning and management systems ensure that projects are completed in a timely, professional manner, working in partnership with our clients.
Since 2010 Artefact is proud to have worked on a diverse range of large and small-scale infrastructure and development projects.
During this time we have built-up extensive experience in a variety of sectors including rail, roads, power and renewables, health, greenfields development and urban renewal.
Some of the more well-known projects we've been involved with include: Central Station Metro; Parramatta Light Rail; Sydney Metro City & Southwest; Wickham Transport Interchange; Northern Beaches Hospital; St Vincent’s Private Hospital; Concord Forensic Mental Health Unit; Sydney Harbour Bridge; The Northern Road Stages 1 & 2; Berry to Bomaderry Upgrade (Princes Highway); West Wyalong Solar Farm; and Wind Farm and Transmission Line projects in the Pilbara and Western NSW.

LUTHER
I am originally from beautiful Canada and moved to Australia to complete my PhD in archaeology at Macquarie University (due to complete early 2025). I have over 5 years’ experience as an archaeologist working in Aboriginal cultural heritage in Canada and I'm keen to bridge together people, archaeology, and Country.
The most important thing that drives my work is that archaeology is a very humanising field that has the ability to bring the past to life and give a voice to those who are no longer living. Indeed, archaeologists are the time travellers on this earth.
I am a Zooarchaeologist who primarily studies animal bones using scientific methods of isotope analysis and I'm especially passionate about understanding human-animal interactions in the ancient world.
Most of my archaeological experience to date has been in Egypt and other areas of the ancient Near East.
MY ARTEFACT
My puppy, Yuki, hails from the beautiful Hunter Valley in Wonnarua Country. His name, Yuki, holds special significance as it means "native male dog" in the Aboriginal Wonnarua language, connecting him to the deep heritage of the land.
Yuki is an absolute bundle of energy—always curious, playful, and ready for any adventure.
From the moment I brought him home, he's been a whirlwind of excitement, constantly exploring his surroundings with boundless enthusiasm. Whether we're playing in the park or just relaxing at home, his joyful spirit brings life to every moment, making him a true companion.
