HERITAGE PLANNING ADVICE

RELIABLE
PLANNING ADVICE

Heritage constraints and archaeological potential are critical considerations for your project, from due diligence to construction. Accurate and compliant advice helps facilitate approvals, minimise unexpected finds and avoid unwanted delays.

Artefact’s expertise includes high-level regulatory, constraints and impact analyses for government, developers, environmental consultants and urban planners. From impact assessments to masterplan input Artefact is able to strategically manage heritage constraints and optimise opportunities for showcasing heritage values. At Artefact we believe that a heritage constraint can often become your projects biggest asset, for design, sustainability and public engagement.

Among the large-area master plans we have contributed to are those for the Cherrybrook Precinct in north-western Sydney and the new Sydney Fish Markets. Artefact also advised Transport for NSW on heritage aspects of the Sydney Metro during the Environmental Impact Statement process for this State Significant Infrastructure.

Facilitating integration into your own systems and presentations, our in-house mapping expertise ensures that site locations, areas of archaeological potential and site management zones for heritage can be delivered in standard formats such as Shapefiles, Geodatabase, GeoPackage or CAD.
