ABOUT

AMELIA

Throughout my career I have been fortunate to work across all levels of government and with communities across NSW. Some of the most rewarding projects I have worked on have struck a beautiful balance between recognising and celebrating the past while allowing current and future generations to contribute to the overall story. I find great joy in the idea of heritage and architecture as a means of storytelling.

MY ARTEFACT

My artefact is a vase by a Cobargo artist which was gifted to me by the Cobargo community after working with them to rebuild their main street after the Black Summer Bushfires. The colours of the vase are reminiscent of the fires but also a symbol of hope for the future and is a constant reminder of the value of working with community.
